On a sunny Wednesday morning, a select circle of editors, creators, and skin‑care insiders gathered in Santa Monica at the Sandbourne Hotel’s signature restaurant, Marelle, for a luncheon that felt more like an idyll on the Aegean than an industry event. The occasion was sponsored by fast-rising dermatologist favorites Alastin Skincare and KeraFactor, in collaboration with event host Lindsay Luv Creative. This luchéon promised an intimate, luxe afternoon unfolding over three unhurried hours beneath Marelle’s billowing white drapes and terracotta‑washed arches.

Marelle’s private dining room was glowing with guests as they were treated to a gourmet lunch created by Chef Raphael Lunetta’s team with a peekaboo view of the Pacific Ocean. Marelle is famed for merging sun‑bleached Mediterranean curves with laid‑back California ease. Hand‑plastered walls in dusky clay, sculptural columns that mimic soft ocean swells, and a lush scattering of potted greenery created instant escapism, every corner a vignette begging to be captured for social feeds or glossy pages.
Each place setting shone with seashell‑hued jewelry from local label Ettika. The seashore‑inspired pieces doubled as parting gifts and conversation starters, underscoring the event’s through‑line of quiet luxury and coastal calm.
Between bites, brand educators offered bite-sized science on the Alastin Skincare line-up, highlighting its TriHex Technology®. Attendees were able to sample and learn more about how Alastin’s proprietary peptides and botanicals support cellular turnover by removing old collagen and elastin, allowing fresh collagen and elastin to flourish.
KeraFactor showcased its biomimetic growth-factor technology, designed to support fuller-looking hair, brows, and lashes, an innovation that has dermatologists buzzing. The line’s nano-liposomal delivery system is engineered to ferry growth factors 50-plus microns beneath the scalp surface, thereby increasing efficacy. The highly engaged room peppered speakers with questions about pre-procedural skin prep, microneedling pairings, and upcoming clinical trials.

As guests departed, many paused for one last photo of the Sandbourne’s façade framed by jacaranda blossom, proof that on the sun‑washed day where beauty, wellness, and community converged in Santa Monica, everyone left glowing, inside and out.
