LA Living Magazine Celebrates August Cover Star Eric Winter With an Unforgettable Night at STK Los Angeles

Some nights perfectly capture what LA Living Magazine is all about: great people, incredible food, meaningful connections, and the unmistakable energy of Los Angeles. Our August cover celebration honoring Eric Winter was exactly that.
LA Living Magazine welcomed approximately 70 guests to STK Los Angeles in Westwood for an intimate yet energetic evening celebrating Winter and his August cover. In the heart of Westwood Village, STK provided the perfect backdrop: elevated, stylish, and sophisticated without ever feeling overly formal. Known for combining a modern steakhouse with the atmosphere and energy of a lounge, STK describes its Los Angeles experience as vibrant, social, and unmistakably LA, and that spirit could be felt throughout the evening. The celebration took place on STK’s iconic outdoor patio, which was transformed into the ultimate summer evening setting. The space felt polished yet relaxed, creating an atmosphere where guests could move around, reconnect with familiar faces, and meet someone new. From the moment guests arrived, the night flowed effortlessly. Music, conversation, cocktails, and incredible food filled the patio as friends of the magazine, past cover stars, featured personalities, tastemakers, and members of the LA Living community gathered together.
And, of course, the food was a major part of the experience.
STK brought the restaurant’s signature approach to the evening with elevated bites and flavors that made it almost impossible not to go back for seconds. The restaurant is known for its steakhouse favorites, seafood, elevated sides, cocktails, and its high-energy approach to dining. (STK Steakhouse) Throughout the celebration, guests enjoyed delicious bites while mingling across the patio, making the food feel like part of the party rather than a traditional sit-down dinner.
At the center of the evening was our August cover star, Eric Winter, and we were incredibly honored to have Eric there alongside his wife, Roselyn Sanchez.
Having Eric and Roselyn celebrate with us made the evening even more meaningful. Eric’s cover represents exactly the kind of story LA Living loves to share one that goes beyond a familiar face and gives readers an opportunity to discover more about the person, his passions, his career, his family, and the projects that continue to inspire him.
The guest list also reminded everyone how much the LA Living community has grown. Several former LA Living cover stars came out to support Eric and the magazine, including Ryan McPartlin, Rob Kirkland, and Zulay Henao, along with many personalities featured throughout LA Living. Seeing past covers and featured guests together in one space made the night feel less like a traditional industry event and much more like a reunion of people who have become part of the magazine’s story.
We never take that sense of community for granted.
One of the highlights of the evening was celebrating another side of Eric’s story through Palm Republic Rum, the premium rum brand he co-founded. Eric’s connection to rum began nearly two decades ago during a trip to Puerto Rico with Roselyn, when sharing local aged rum with her family sparked what would eventually become a longtime passion. Palm Republic grew from that journey and Eric’s years of exploring Caribbean rum, making it especially fitting that the brand played such a special role in the evening. (Palm Republic)
Every guest left the celebration with Palm Republic Rum, taking a piece of Eric’s story home and adding one final celebratory touch to the evening.
A Gift Bag Filled With LA Living Favorites
No LA Living celebration would be complete without an incredible gift bag, and this one was filled with a thoughtfully curated collection spanning fashion, beauty, wellness, and self-care.
Guests received bamboo pajamas from PatPat Clothing, bringing an element of cozy luxury to the bag. PatPat has expanded its bamboo sleepwear offerings across babies, children and adults, including family matching styles. The brand highlights the fabric’s softness, breathability and moisture-wicking qualities—making the pajamas the kind of gift guests could actually look forward to putting on after a late night out.
Aloisia Beauty brought skincare into the mix, giving guests another reason to turn the following morning into a little self-care moment. Known for its skincare-focused approach, the inclusion perfectly complemented the evening’s balance of beauty, lifestyle and wellness.
Quicksilver Scientific added a wellness component to the gifting experience. The brand’s presence brought the growing conversation around modern wellness and personal optimization into the mix, something that continues to resonate with the LA Living audience.
NEOM Wellbeing added another layer of self-care. With a brand philosophy centered around creating small wellbeing moments in everyday life, NEOM was a natural fit for a gift bag designed to feel indulgent but also useful long after the event ended.
Guests also received JLo Beauty, bringing some serious star-powered skincare to the evening. The brand’s focus on glowing, luxurious-looking skin made it an especially fitting addition to a Los Angeles celebration filled with cameras, beauty and red-carpet-ready guests.
The evening's visual details were just as memorable as the guest list. Posh Florist brought the patio to life with beautiful floral arrangements that added warmth, color, and an elevated finishing touch to the space. The florals complemented STK’s modern atmosphere perfectly, creating a setting that felt sophisticated and special while still maintaining the relaxed, welcoming energy we wanted for the night.
Adding an unforgettable personalized element were life-size prints of Eric Winter’s August LA Living Magazine cover created by Bay Cities. The oversized cover display transformed the patio into a true LA Living moment and provided the perfect backdrop throughout the celebration. Seeing the August cover brought to life on such a large scale made the evening feel even more special and, naturally, created one of the night’s favorite photo opportunities.
Together, the florals from Posh Florist, the incredible life-size cover installations from Bay Cities, and STK’s iconic Westwood patio created a beautiful environment that felt LA Living: polished, modern, celebratory and full of personality.
Together with additional surprises, the gift bag reflected what LA Living loves most: discovering brands that enhance the way we live, whether through beauty, fashion, wellness, family or those little everyday luxuries that simply make life more enjoyable.
But as memorable as the venue, food, drinks and gifting were, what stood out most was something that can’t be put into a gift bag: the energy in the room.
There was no pretense. No feeling that anyone had to be anywhere other than exactly where they were.
People stayed. They talked. They laughed. They introduced friends to friends. Past cover stars supported the newest cover star. Featured guests returned to celebrate the publication that had previously celebrated them. New relationships were formed, and old ones were strengthened.
It was simply good people and good energy.
And that is exactly how we want LA Living Magazine to feel.
As the magazine continues to grow, our goal has never been simply to create beautiful covers or host beautiful parties. We want to build a genuine community around the people, places, businesses, and stories that make Los Angeles what it is. We want the magazine's pages to come to life through experiences where people feel welcomed, supported, and excited to connect.
The Eric Winter cover celebration captured that vision perfectly.
From an iconic Westwood patio filled with 70 guests to incredible food from STK, Palm Republic Rum, thoughtfully curated gifts, and a room filled with so many people who have been part of LA Living’s journey, the night felt like a celebration of much more than one cover.
It was a celebration of community. We are incredibly grateful to Eric Winter for letting LA Living Magazine share his story, and equally grateful to Eric and Roselyn Sanchez for spending the evening celebrating with us. To our past cover stars, featured guests, partners, brands, friends, and supporters who showed up and brought such incredible energy to the night, thank you.
Los Angeles can be a very big city, but nights like this have a way of making it feel a whole lot smaller.
Great food. Great people. Great energy. No egos, just support, connection, and a genuinely good time.
That is the LA we love.
And that is exactly what we want LA Living Magazine to represent.
