The snack brand teams up with popular creators for colorful campus takeovers celebrating its Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Wafers.

College life just got a little sweeter! SkinnyDipped brought its signature playful energy to college campuses with the launch of its “Better Break Club,” a series of vibrant pop-up experiences designed to give students a much-needed break from their busy schedules while introducing the brand’s Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Wafers.

The celebration kicked off on October 26 at the University of Arizona with the Pheloung Twins, Brigette McHale and Danielle Pheloung, before heading to the University of Southern California on October 28, where popular creators Brett Chody and Bran Flakezz joined the fun.

Centered around the campaign’s catchy message, “Layers Look Good On You,” the pop-ups transformed everyday campus spaces into bright, Instagram-worthy destinations. From an oversized yellow entrance arch to a vintage step van wrapped in SkinnyDipped branding, every detail brought the brand’s personality to life.

Students were welcomed into a cheerful, sun-yellow setting featuring a storefront stocked with SkinnyDipped treats and branded trucker hats. Beautiful peach, orange, and cream floral arrangements complemented the wafer packaging, while a flower-framed photo wall offered the perfect backdrop for students to capture the moment and share the experience with friends.

But the Better Break Club was about more than creating a picture-perfect moment. Students could sample the brand’s Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Wafers, take home branded tote bags, and discover where to stock up on their new favorite snack. The experience also extended beyond the pop-ups with special sorority house deliveries, including stops at Delta Gamma and Alpha Phi at USC.

By combining social media creators, interactive experiences, and product discovery, SkinnyDipped created an event that felt less like a traditional marketing campaign and more like a fun campus hangout. It was a refreshing reminder that sometimes the best part of a busy day is simply taking a break.

Behind the colorful branding is a family-founded company with its own sweet story. Created by mother-daughter duo Val and Breezy Griffith, SkinnyDipped first made its mark with almonds coated in a thin layer of chocolate. Since then, the brand has expanded its lineup to include peanut butter cups, coconut bites, and wafers, all designed to deliver indulgent flavor with less sugar.

With its latest campus activation, SkinnyDipped proved that connecting with the next generation of snack lovers is about more than what’s inside the package. It’s about creating experiences, building community, and making everyday moments a little more enjoyable.

And if the Better Break Club taught students anything, it’s that taking a break can be pretty sweet.
