Lane Carlson’s early years were filled with the kind of fame most people dream of. Born in Stillwater, Minnesota, he and his identical twin brother, Kyle, were catapulted into the international fashion scene as the iconic “Carlson Twins.” With appearances in high-profile campaigns for Armani and Abercrombie & Fitch and features in leading magazines, Lane became a staple in the early 2000s modeling world.
But behind the flashbulbs and fashion, a deeper calling stirred. After a successful run in entertainment and media, including TV appearances such as Fear Factor and Mobile Home Disaster, Lane embarked on a quiet, inward journey that would ultimately reshape his entire life.

Driven by a desire to understand the human experience at its root, Lane studied Spiritual Psychology at the University of Santa Monica. It was here that he immersed himself in the principles of emotional responsibility, inner healing, and consciousness-based education.
This phase of Lane’s life was a turning point. He left behind the surface-level glamour to dive into meditation, breathwork, and transformational healing practices. The goal? To heal himself, he must first help others do the same.
Today, he teaches and leads through these modalities, offering people a bridge between ancient wisdom and modern-day healing.
Lane’s most recent work centers around one of the most profound tools in human transformation: plant medicine.
In a time when psychedelic therapy is re-emerging in mainstream wellness, Lane stands out for his grounded, ethical, and heart-led approach. He trains aspiring facilitators in the responsible and conscious use of psilocybin through intensive programs rooted in safety, integrity, and integration.
For Lane, it’s not about the substance. It’s about the space. It’s about preparation. Intention. And what happens after the experience ends? These ceremonial practices, conducted in sacred and structured environments, offer individuals the opportunity to reconnect with themselves, heal old wounds, and rediscover their authentic selves. Lane Carlson’s mission is simple yet profound: help people remember the truth of who they are.
He does this by
● Teaching breathwork and meditation to ground people in the present moment.
● Guiding psychedelic preparation and integration for long-term transformation.
● Offering training programs for ethical facilitators who want to support others on their path.
● Building a community rooted in presence, vulnerability, and shared growth.
He believes that when people heal themselves, they naturally become better partners, parents, leaders, and friends. And that personal healing ripples outward, changing communities and cultures one heart at a time.
What sets Lane apart isn’t just his wisdom but the way he shares it.
He’s not trying to be a guru.
He doesn’t sell a quick fix.
He doesn’t promise enlightenment.
What he offers is presence. Realness. Honesty. A reminder that healing is an ongoing, often uncomfortable process, but one that leads to freedom. You can find Lane @carlsonlane
