Single Moms Planet (SMP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting single mothers and their families through comprehensive programs in financial education, business development, and community support.

Mission and Vision

SMP’s mission is to end poverty in single-mother households by providing access to financial literacy and business resources. They aim to create a world where every single mother has the tools and support needed to achieve economic independence and stability.

Core Programs

1. Business Coaching: SMP offers mentorship and coaching to help single mothers develop entrepreneurial skills and launch successful businesses.

2. Financial Literacy: The organization provides education on budgeting, saving, and financial planning to empower mothers to make informed financial decisions.

3. Childcare and Camps: Recognizing the challenges of balancing work and parenting, SMP offers childcare services and camps to support working single mothers.

SMP 100 Executive & Entrepreneur Accelerator

One of SMP’s flagship initiatives is the SMP 100 Executive & Entrepreneur Accelerator, a six-week business and brand development program valued at $7,500. Offered free to 100 selected single mothers, the program provides intensive coaching to help participants build their businesses and increase media visibility.

Community Engagement and Events

SMP hosts various events to foster community and provide networking opportunities, including:

● Brunch with Vision Mother’s Day: A vision board workshop and brunch event aimed at helping mothers set and achieve personal and professional goals.

● Juneteenth Celebration: In partnership with The Honest Company, this event celebrates Black mothers and promotes Black-owned businesses.

● SMP Teen Boy Skincare + Grooming Pop-Up: An initiative to educate teenage boys of single mothers on self-care and grooming.

● Individuals can support SMP’s mission through donations, fundraising, or joining their monthly giving community, The Giving Tree. Contributions help fund programs that provide single mothers with the resources needed to achieve financial independence.
