By the early twentieth century, the family shifted fully into bedmaking, applying the same discipline and precision that once went into saddles. Nearly one hundred years after its founding, Hästens received one of its highest honors. In 1952, the brand was appointed Official Supplier to the Swedish Royal Court by King Gustaf VI Adolf. That distinction has remained ever since, a quiet but powerful endorsement of quality, consistency, and trust.
Today, each Hästens bed is still handcrafted in Köping, Sweden, by artisans who train for years before assembling a single mattress. The process has barely changed, because perfection rarely needs reinvention.
