Los Angeles’ creative community gathered in spectacular fashion at the Mr. Brainwash Art Museum to celebrate a decade of We Do It Together  — the nonprofit dedicated to uplifting women’s stories through film, education, and global cultural initiatives.

The setting itself, a vibrant fusion of pop art, graffiti, and wonder designed by artist and filmmaker Thierry Guetta, perfectly matched the spirit of the organization: bold, expressive, and imaginative. The museum’s playful energy set the tone for an evening that blended art, luxury, advocacy, and inspiration.

Founded in 2015 by filmmaker Chiara Tilesi, We Do It Together has grown into an international movement supporting women’s storytelling across continents. From collaborations with the United Nations and global governments to its Oscar-nominated film project Tell It Like a Woman, the organization has worked to elevate stories that challenge inequality and celebrate resilience.

The gala honored seven women whose achievements reflect the organization’s mission. Sharon Stone — known as much for her activism as her film career — received the Iconic Excellence Award. Honorees also included music icon Diane Warren, director Patricia Riggen, Beverly Hills Mayor Dr. Sharona Nazarian, CNN Hero Dr. Kim Carter, model Bianca Balti, and Dr. Rita Ali.

Guests were treated to the U.S. premiere of the I AM campaign, a visually striking global project featuring self-portrait videos by influential women, including Helen Mirren and Marisa Tomei. Each short explores self-definition through a personal “I am…” statement, creating an intimate and artistic collective portrait of womanhood.

Master of Ceremonies Giselle Fernandez guided the evening, which included a red carpet, award presentations, a seated dinner, and a private museum tour. Spiritual leaders Oliver Niño and Mandy Morris joined as supporters, bringing an added layer of intention to the celebration.

Adding to the night’s artistic flair, Guetta donated a mixed-media piece titled Pop Wall, which was auctioned in support of the organization’s future work. Honorees received the Victoria Award — a stunning bronze-and-gold sculpture by Italian artist Camilla Ancilotto, inspired by ancient symbols of triumph and rebirth.

As the organization steps into its next decade, opportunities remain open for sponsors and supporters who want to join its mission to empower women through creativity, storytelling, and cultural transformation.
