On a quiet Wednesday afternoon in Beverly Hills, LA Living Magazine partnered with The ALS Network to host an intimate charity luncheon rooted in connection, compassion, and action. Held at NUA Beverly Hills, the gathering brought together a thoughtful group of leaders, creatives, and advocates ahead of the Champions for Cures and Care Gala taking place this January.

The afternoon was centered on ALS awareness and the very real people behind the cause. Among the guests were Erin Taylor, a person living with ALS and social influencer known for her candid storytelling at @unsteadyandready, Sheri Strahl, President and CEO of The ALS Network, and Aaron Lazar, actor, LA Living Magazine cover model, and person living with ALS. Their presence set the tone for a conversation that was honest, emotional, and deeply human.

As guests settled in, the room quickly filled with warmth and intention. Stories were shared not for sympathy, but for understanding. Erin Taylor spoke about navigating life with ALS with resilience and humor, while Aaron Lazar offered powerful insight into using his platform to raise awareness of a disease that often remains misunderstood. Sheri Strahl highlighted the ongoing work of The ALS Network and the importance of community-driven support in advancing care, research, and advocacy.
The guest list reflected the spirit of the afternoon. Attendees included Kimberly Hrezo, Stuart Brazel, Selah Victor, Adrienne Janic, Jasmine Dustin, Kristina Kuzmic, Dana Syracuse, Merry Tungka, Kristin Richardson, Danielle McPartlin, Dorthy Lucy, Lisa Breckinridge, and Jessica Hall Carlson. Each brought their own perspective, whether from media, philanthropy, wellness, or the creative world, contributing to a dialogue that felt both intimate and impactful.

Guests were welcomed with beautiful NUA gift bags thoughtfully curated with products from JLo Beauty, Magic Mind, The Body Firm, Sunny Within, and other standout brands. The setting was elevated by gorgeous floral arrangements from The Posh Florist and a striking, oversized poster from Bay Cities, adding a polished visual touch to the afternoon.
Rather than formal speeches, the luncheon unfolded as a shared experience. Conversations flowed easily across the table, creating space for connection and reflection. It was a reminder that progress often begins in rooms like this, where people gather with open hearts and a shared sense of purpose.

The incredible and delicious luncheon served as a meaningful lead-up to the Champions for Cures and Care Gala, reinforcing why these moments matter. It was not just about raising awareness, but about standing alongside those living with ALS, listening to their stories, and committing to continued support.
LA Living Magazine is proud to support The ALS Network and the incredible individuals who are helping move this mission forward. The afternoon at NUA Beverly Hills was a testament to the power of community, and a reminder that hope is built through presence, conversation, and collective action.
